Product Description

HPMA (2-Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate) is a versatile monomer with the chemical formula C7H12O3 (CAS 27813-02-1), appearing as a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is widely used in polymer synthesis, coatings, adhesives, and biomedical applications due to its excellent reactivity, hydrophilicity, and adhesion properties. With a typical purity of ≥97%, it offers good solubility in organic solvents and moderate water compatibility. HPMA is commonly inhibited with MEHQ (100-300 ppm) for stability and should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
